Selection Procedures

Selection procedures starts with a written test which has an objective and coding questions consisting of the following three sections:

  1. Computer Science (Coding)
  2. Data Science (Machine Learning)
  3. Quantitative Analysis( Quant)

He had applied for coding and quantitative analysis. Coding questions weren’t that tough, consisting of all types of questions from easy, average to difficult. And in the quantitative  analysis section, questions were from probability and statistics which were of JEE level.

After the selection test, he was notified by CDC about the Day 1 of my interview.

There were 5 to 6 rounds of interviews and for some there were 8 rounds as well! The level of interview questions were much better than the selection test. People were interviewed by different teams on the basis of their score in selection test. Last year interns worked in 3 different divisions : Security, Risk and Tech. In his interview rounds, most of the questions were on algorithms and data structures. On that basis he got the intern in Technology division.

Mostly, projects were individually allotted but he did his project in a group of two. His job was to improve the algorithm and implement a better one.
